KIT DESCRIPTION
The HP
Performance 05-08 Mustang GT Stage I Turbo System consists of a CNC mandrel bent 14
ga. mild steel tubing system, which is ceramic coated (hot and cold sides) in a
polished aluminum finish by JetHot, the country's premier ceramic coating
company. The system begins with two tubes connecting to the factory exhaust
manifolds which then merge together before connecting to the single Garrett 60mm
turbo (67mm or 76mm turbo optional). After traveling through the turbocharger,
the exhaust gases then go through a single downpipe that connects to a Y-pipe,
splitting the exhaust into dual exhaust tubes connecting to the stock cat back
(muffler system) in the factory position. Starting from the turbo discharge on
the cold side, a tube connects the turbo to the inlet side of the intercooler.
After passing through the intercooler, the cooled air exits through a tube into
the MAF and then to the throttle body tube. All connections on the exhaust side
are made using stainless steel V-band clamps. On the cold side, the connections
are 3-ply silicone hose fastened with stainless steel T-bolt clamps. The
system
comes with a 60mm Garrett turbo (max 600 rwhp), Bosch BOV valve (optional billet
BOV available), Tial 38mm wastegate, Ford GT Supercar fuel pump upgrade, factory
mass air meter calibrated to the eight 39# fuel injectors, Diablo Predator
tuning package and all hoses, fittings, clamps, brackets and fasteners required
to install the system.
Estimated 15 hours install time. System requires
no fabrication or welding. System carries a 1-year parts and workmanship warranty,
a 3-year ceramic coating warranty and a limited lifetime warranty on all tubing
components.
