Owners Heather and Jason Brown are proud of their accomplishments on this sweet '91 LX convertible.  As people are learning the hard way, this stock-looking Mustang is packing a serious punch at over 800 hp!  The car has a full interior and sound system and weighs in at 3400 lbs.!  They took the title in the 6.70 brackets against full-on race cars at the 2005 Braggin' Rights Nationals at Houston Raceway Park and recently set new personal bests of 9.61 @ 140 - 1/4 mile, 6.11 @ 1/8 mile, 1.34 - 60' and best drag radial run of  9.80 @ 139mph.  Future plans include new paint, a DART block and an HP Performance Twin Turbo system for the car.

"We have always wanted a turbo'd Mustang and now with the HP kit on our car so does everyone else!  No kidding.  Heather has run a new best with the car while applying for her NHRA license (9.61 @ 140mph), 1\8 mile was( 6.11 with a 1.34 60ft.) and a best drag radial run of 9.80 @ 139mph.  All runs are at 3400 lbs and still with the full interior including the stereo that works.  LOL.  All this on an HP street kit w\76mm turbo & Stock block 302 with a CHP 347 stroker kit.  I have been in touch with the guys at CHP to see about our little engine and they said its unbelievable, over 800 ponies at the crank with the HP kit and still going after hundreds of runs and 6yrs of racing.....Thanks to HP for putting together a  kit that looks and works great."
