Briane bought this car from its original owner and it has only 7300 original miles on it.  The car was only used for car shows and now its a show/race car.  He mainly drives it on the weekends and any chance he gets to go to the track.  Briane loves drag racing and his goal with the car is to have a 9 second sleeper, running 9's on the stock pony's with Hoosier 16x10 slicks.  Briane's next plans are for a TKO and Spec clutch and alcohol injection and try to run 10's on the stock engine.

"It's making so much power right now the stock clutch is slipping.  Before the clutch started slipping, when it was cold out, it would blow the tires off in 4th gear at 100 mph.  The power is unbelievable even at 10 psi.....Can you say sleeper?"

"Well I finally got the car to the dyno and it put down some crazy numbers. The motor is still completely stock except for the Cometic MLS gaskets, ARP head bolts, and 1.7 roller rockers. I made 509 rwhp and 626 rwtq at 16 psi. I was running 100 octane unleaded with timing locked at 20 degrees with 38 lbs of fuel pressure. I couldn't believe it made that much power, I was expecting 425-450 at the most. Hats off to HP Performance for making such a great kit. I'm gonna run it at the track tomorrow but still have stock axles so I won't beat on it too much."

".....I forgot to tell you how much I made on the pump gas setup.  I set it to 12 psi and made 433 rwhp and 571 rwtq.  I'm pulling on 525 hp 03 Cobra's with my street setup.  That's sick.  I'm so glad I went with a turbo over a blower.  What a waste of money that would have been.  I was talking to Jimmy and he said I was in the top 1 percent in the country for the most hp with a stock motor.  I still don't understand how you can make 626 rwtq through a stock throttle body. That over 700 at the flywheel!!  Crazy!!  I couldn't be more pleased with the kit.  The car is a Monster.  The guy in the 03 Cobra said it sounded like a F16 flying by when I sucked the paint off his car."

".....just wanted to let you know I got my car to the track and ran an  11.29 @124 mph at 16 psi. It was spinning to a 1.78 60' then later that night I blew up the T5 so my 10 second timeslip on the stock motor will have to wait for now.  I'll let you know when I get it back together."
