1997 MUSTANG COBRA SVT
HP STAGE I  KIT

This 1997 Cobra has a HP STAGE I kit on a completely bone-stock engine.  The kit was built and installed on Chuck's car in HP's shop, and also underwent a complete suspension change, including tubular front k-member, tubular control arms, coil-over conversion caster camber plates, rear control arms, coil-overs and sub-frame connectors.  In addition, a six-speed transmission and Spec II clutch was added.  The car is presently on the way to California for a computer chip and dyno tune at Power Train Dynamics and will be featured in an article in an upcoming issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords.  The car was recently dyno tested and produced 540 rwhp / 520 rwtq @ 11# boost.
